Expert Tree Care for Oakridge, South Cambie, and the Cambie Corridor

The Cambie Corridor is unlike anywhere else in Vancouver right now. The City of Vancouver’s Cambie Corridor Plan has triggered the most concentrated residential redevelopment in the city — older single-family homes being replaced by townhouses, low-rise condos, and the Oakridge mega-development reshaping the southern half of the corridor. For tree care, that’s created an entire category of work that barely existed a decade ago: development-driven retention assessments, construction protection plans, and arborist reports tied directly to permit applications.

When a property in the corridor changes hands or files for redevelopment, the City of Vancouver typically requires a certified arborist report identifying all significant trees on the lot, recommending retention versus removal, and specifying root protection zones for any trees that stay.
