Kerrisdale and Arbutus Ridge sit at the centre of the Westside and share something most Vancouver neighbourhoods don’t: a deeply established residential canopy that’s now well into late maturity. The horse chestnuts, plane trees, flowering cherries, and Japanese maples lining West Boulevard, East Boulevard, and the streets fanning off them were largely planted in the post-war decades.
